[Remote] Data Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CRG Carolinas Referral Group is seeking a Data Analyst to translate business questions into focused analyses. The role supports practical reporting, data accuracy, and decision-making through routine analysis and reporting improvements.

Responsibilities

• Use basic SQL queries or comparable tools to answer specific business questions
• Work with stakeholders to clarify definitions and reporting expectations
• Prepare simple trend comparisons and periodic performance summaries
• Explain key observations and limitations in clear, accessible language
• Help improve routine reporting templates and data collection processes
• Protect sensitive business data under established access procedures
• Collect and combine information from approved reports and source systems

Skills

• Clear communication skills for presenting findings to nontechnical colleagues
• Ability to check figures for completeness and accuracy
• Practical experience with Excel or another spreadsheet application
• Some academic, project, or entry-level analytical experience is useful
• Familiarity with data visualization tools is helpful but not essential
