[Remote] Director, People Operations

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GLOBO is hiring a Director, People Operations to build and oversee scalable human resources infrastructure. The role leads People team operations across the employee lifecycle, talent acquisition, performance management, analytics, compliance, total rewards, and leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Infrastructure: Designing and maintaining the entire employee lifecycle—from sophisticated onboarding programs to off-boarding—ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a world-class employee experience. Meet and satisfy metrics associated with People Operations including attrition, speed to hire and employee satisfaction
• Strategic Talent Acquisition: Leading the full-cycle recruiting strategy to attract top-tier talent in a competitive market; overseeing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), optimizing the candidate experience, and partnering with department heads to forecast hiring needs and build diverse talent pipelines
• Performance & Talent Management: Serving as the architect for performance review cycles, compensation leveling, and promotion frameworks; partnering with department heads to improve organizational health and execution
• Data & Analytics: Monitoring activity metrics (turnover, eNPS, time-to-hire) and maintaining the HRIS (Paylocity) to provide actionable insights to the executive leadership team
• Compliance & Risk Management: Guiding the company through complex labor laws across multiple territories, managing internal audits, and ensuring all People policies are up-to-date and legally sound
• Total Rewards Strategy: Managing benefits administration, payroll integration, and competitive salary benchmarking to ensure GLOBO remains a top-tier employer in the Healthcare/Tech space
• Leadership Mentorship: Supporting the development of People Ops team members and providing influence without authority; coaching to managers across the organization to foster a high-performance culture

Skills

• 8-10 years of progressive HR/People Operations experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven history of scaling organizations from start-up to mid-stage to enterprise levels
• Bachelor's degree required
• Ability to turn complex data into a narrative that drives business decisions
• Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills with the ability to navigate sensitive employee relations issues with empathy and candor
• Hands-on experience with modern HRIS, ATS, and engagement platforms (e.g., Hubspot for internal tracking, Paylocity, Employee Navigator)
• Evaluate situations and data to understand implications for chosen business solutions
• Thoughtfully delegates work and provides resources to the team to accomplish work, aligning staff to the Company mission and vision
• Influence the team through communications—Foster communications up and down the organization
• Exhibits functional mastery and curiosity to learn outside of role, department, and organization
• Develop talent for career growth/future opportunities
• Identify barriers to change/growth
• Recognize team accomplishments to support change and growth initiatives
• Models service delivery and coaches others to deliver excellent service in various settings
• Understand customer needs and uses feedback to develop and improve processes, procedures, partnerships, performance expectations, and training so that customer satisfaction improves and service issues are prevented
• Experience in Language Services or Healthcare Tech
• Master's degree in HR, I/O Psychology, or MBA
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification
