[Remote] Eye Care Specialists: Clinical Note Review for Diagnosis Extraction

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Terac is conducting a paid study to evaluate how accurately ICD-10 diagnosis codes and eye laterality can be extracted from clinical documentation. The role involves reviewing de-identified eye care notes, checking codes against clinical evidence, and flagging discrepancies, missing information, or unsupported assignments.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret de-identified eye care clinical notes
• Evaluate extracted ICD-10 diagnosis codes for clinical accuracy
• Verify that eye laterality is correctly captured based on the text
• Identify and flag unsupported or missing diagnostic codes

Skills

• We are looking for professionals with deep experience in ophthalmology or optometry clinical documentation
• Ideal candidates have a strong working knowledge of ICD-10 guidelines specifically regarding eye laterality and complex ocular diagnoses
• Professional experience in eye care clinical documentation or medical coding
• Strong working knowledge of ICD-10 diagnosis coding guidelines
• Familiarity with optometry or ophthalmology terminology
