OpenTrain AI is hiring a part-time Federal Staff Reporting Analyst to evaluate AI-generated federal reports and create realistic reporting tasks and reference responses. The role also involves refining reporting guidance and feedback to help AI outputs meet federal reporting conventions.
Responsibilities
- Grade AI-written federal reports for accuracy, clarity and compliance, and say exactly where each one falls short
- Draft realistic Weekly Action Reports and Situation Reports from the prompts and source documents you are given
- Write reference responses for after-action reports and executive briefings
- Refine reporting guidance and feedback so outputs follow federal reporting conventions
Skills
- At least three years writing federal reports or staff products for the U.S. Department of Defense, in uniform or as a DoD civilian
- A track record of templated reports (WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries) built in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in one or more U.S. military branches
- Strong written and spoken communication
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. as an independent contractor (1099)
