[Remote] Mainframe Test Architect(Healthcare Claims)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Techgene Solutions is seeking a Mainframe Test Architect to own the end-to-end testing strategy and architecture for mainframe-based healthcare claims applications. The role establishes testing frameworks and quality standards, guides cross-functional teams, and manages testing risks and status.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end test strategy, architecture, and quality standards for claims applications
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and development teams to ensure requirements and designs are testable
• Establish test automation, regression, and test data management frameworks
• Review test plans, test cases, and test results across teams
• Define quality metrics and communicate testing status and risks to stakeholders
• Provide technical guidance and mentor test leads and team members
• Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies

Skills

• Strong experience defining test strategy and test architecture for mainframe applications, including batch and online systems
• In-depth knowledge of COBOL, JCL, IMS, and DB2
• Experience designing test frameworks, test data management, and test environment strategies
• Strong healthcare claims domain knowledge across the complete claims lifecycle
• DB2 SQL and IMS data validation for complex claims scenarios
• Hands-on experience with TSO/ISPF, File-AID, SPUFI, and CICS
• Experience defining mainframe test automation and regression strategies
• Understanding of claims concepts such as adjudication, coordination of benefits (COB), adjustments, and pricing
• Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA or ALM
• Knowledge of HIPAA claims transactions
• Exposure to Medicare or Medicaid claims
• Experience with mainframe DevOps, CI/CD practices, and mainframe modernization testing
