[Remote] Financial Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. A Full Renovation – Home Improvement is seeking a Financial Analyst to review financial results and explain significant variances. The role supports financial reporting and budgeting through variance analysis, recordkeeping, and coordination of reporting inputs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial spreadsheets and ensure formulas reference current inputs
• Prepare simple variance explanations for review by finance colleagues
• Organize financial records and verify that totals reconcile
• Identify missing inputs and raise questions about unusual figures
• Summarize cost and revenue trends using approved financial data
• Coordinate reporting inputs and clarify deadlines with stakeholders
• Check financial schedules for completeness and arithmetic accuracy

• Ability to explain simple financial findings clearly
• Strong judgment when handling confidential financial information
• Foundational understanding of budgets, financial statements, and variances
• Ability to work with established procedures and review notes
