[Remote] Human Resources Information System Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Planet Group is recruiting a Workday HCM Consultant to support and optimize an unnamed client’s Workday environment. The role focuses on Core HCM, reporting, security, and recruiting, with potential support for Benefits configuration and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Reporting: Create and maintain Workday reports, ranging from basic to advanced custom reports, primarily within Core HCM
• Recruiting: Support Recruiting configuration, reporting, and day-to-day issues, including requisitions, candidate stages, offers, and the transition into Core HCM
• Business Processes: Identify, assess, and troubleshoot business processes that are not functioning as expected
• Security: Review and help resolve security issues resulting from Workday releases
• Documentation and Communication: Document issues, fixes, and changes, and communicate updates to HR and HRIS stakeholders
• Benefits: Support Benefits reporting and configuration as needed

Skills

• Approximately 5 years of Workday HCM experience
• At least 2 full-lifecycle Workday implementations, with Core HCM as a primary workstream
• Hands-on Workday Recruiting configuration experience on at least one implementation or optimization project
• Experience with Workday security configuration and custom report building, including calculated fields
• Proficiency with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) for data conversion and mass updates
• Strong business process configuration and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lead client workshops and communicate effectively with HR and IT stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with HR stakeholders
• Workday Benefits configuration experience, including open enrollment and life events
• Experience supporting Workday through semiannual release cycles
