Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. V-Soft Consulting is recruiting a Senior QA Tester for an unnamed premier client in Des Moines. The role focuses on software quality assurance and testing, including automated and manual testing, database and API validation, and accessibility standards.
Skills
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance and Software Testing experience
- Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts
- High-level proficiency with: • SQL queries and database validation • API testing and web service validation
- Experience working in Agile or similar collaborative development environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, developers, project managers, and other IT teams
- Strong experience with manual testing methodologies and best practices
- Certified in accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS, or equivalent) with a thorough, deep understanding of accessibility principles and WCAG 2.2 AA standards, not just surface-level familiarity
