[Remote] Key Account Manager (Logistic Services)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SSI SCHÄFER is hiring a Key Account Manager to develop new business in logistics and warehouse automation. The role owns the full sales cycle, builds customer relationships, and sells tailored automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics and warehouse automation market, building and managing your own sales pipeline
• Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and customer discovery through solution development, negotiations, and closing complex deals
• Understand customer needs and partner with internal sales, engineering, and project teams to develop and present tailored automation solutions
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with key decision-makers while managing extended sales cycles and maintaining accurate forecasts
• Spend approximately 50% of your time traveling to engage customers, develop opportunities, and grow the business

Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in automation, intralogistics, warehouse automation, or a related technical sales environment
• A hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to prospect, generate new business, build a pipeline, and close deals
• Technical aptitude and the ability to communicate complex solutions in a way that connects with customer needs
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a trustworthy and professional approach
• Self-motivation, persistence, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles that may span six months to two years
• You're both a hunter and a closer
• You know how to find the right opportunities, earn customer trust, navigate complex buying decisions, and turn your efforts into results
• You bring energy, accountability, and a genuine hunger to win business
