EXL is seeking a Senior Data & AI Developer to design and scale enterprise data and AI solutions focused on Agentic AI, data quality automation, and data modernization. The role builds AI agents and data platforms, implements governance and quality solutions, and supports cloud modernization initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage data engineering projects
- Provide strategic guidance
- Oversee data engineering team
- Ensure continuous improvement of data processes
- Build AI agents and multi-agent solutions
- Develop agentic workflows and LLM integrations
- Implement data quality, classification, lineage, and governance solutions
- Design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data platforms
- Support cloud-based data modernization programs
- Collaborate with business, architecture, and engineering teams
Skills
- 8+ years in Data Engineering, AI Engineering, or Software Development
- Strong Python and SQL expertise
- Experience with Agentic AI and LLM applications
- Cloud experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Governance experience
- CI/CD and Agile delivery experience
- Graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 3-4 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
