[Remote] Managing Director, Consulting & Investment Banking

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. DeVoe & Company is seeking a Managing Director to lead client engagements focused on business consulting, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations. The role involves developing client solutions through analysis and modeling, managing client relationships and projects, and contributing to business development and team development.

Responsibilities

• Representing DeVoe & Company as a seasoned expert
• Leading projects from planning to delivery
• Employing rigorous analytics and structured thinking to deliver clients the highest quality experience in the industry
• Developing and maintaining strong and effective client relationships that typically span multiple engagements
• Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis in creating client solutions
• Conducting complex modeling, including valuations and discounted cash flows
• Developing highly effective client presentations using the Minto Pyramid Principle
• Conducting outreach campaigns to targeted prospects
• Collaborating with team-mates; training and mentoring other DeVoe personnel
• Sourcing new clients; prospecting
• Presenting on behalf of the company at events or on webinars

Skills

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years of relevant experience with a top management consulting firm, investment banking firm or highly relevant RIA industry role
• Proven ability to create client solutions and recommendations rooted in quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Structured, analytical mindset with a passion for creating compelling stories out of data
• Exceptional communication skills including the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively -- both verbally and in writing
• Great attention to detail as well as ability to “see the big picture”
• Collaborative team player
• Strong work ethic
• Strong ethics and values, and authentic respect for people at all levels of organizations
• Demonstrated track record of high performance and achieving excellence in previous roles
• Strong commitment to continuous improvement and delivering outstanding results
• High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and other technology tools, including AI-assisted research and productivity tools
• Ideally an MBA from leading program
• Direct experience working at a private equity firm or private equity-backed firm is a plus
