Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Arcfield is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to join its Finance team. The role supports assigned programs by managing forecasts, analyzing financial performance, monitoring costs and schedules, and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned programs
- Manage financial forecasts with program manager input and based on contractual details
- Analyze financial results providing explanations for variances to plan
- Act as a key technical expert on financial analysis issues
- Coordinate interdepartmental development of program plans and interfaces with vendors and customers as required
- Monitor and reports performance against plans to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met
- Monitor the status of financial accounts, ensuring that program charges accurately reflect the correct labor hours and rates, subcontractor costs and other direct costs (ODCs)
- Monitor spending versus plan and notifies management promptly of any over runs/under runs
- Prepare financial reports, statements and estimates for internal and external stakeholders
- Interface with top management, responding to their requests for financial data. Resolves reporting and compliance issues
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2
- Experience in a financial role in government contracting industry
- Strong excel skills
- Costpoint preferred
