Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. HD Supply is hiring a Renovation Sales Representative to achieve annual sales and profitability targets in an assigned territory. The role drives customer growth, manages renovation projects, and coordinates with internal and external partners, including owners, contractors, and credit.
Responsibilities
- Driving business growth within territory with existing and incremental customers
- Establishes and expands relationships with owners and contractors
- Central point of contact for all territory renovation projects including but not limited to project management, due diligence, product sourcing, selection, and request for product (RFP)/Quoting
- Partners with credit to identify funding and ownership
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
- Must reside in the state(s) specified above
- A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline
- Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field
- Certification is required in some areas
- Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently, take ownership of a territory, and maintain focus in a dynamic, high-opportunity market
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the confidence to make sound decisions, navigate challenges, and identify opportunities that support business growth
- Demonstrated resilience and adaptability, with the ability to overcome obstacles, adjust to changing circumstances, and maintain momentum toward established goals
- Experience managing large or complex customer relationships, building credibility with customers, and developing solutions based on their business needs
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the professionalism to effectively engage customers and collaborate with internal business partners
- Experience in property management, property maintenance, general construction/foreman leadership, facilities operations, hospitality sales, healthcare sales, or another customer-focused, relationship-driven industry
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer needs, projects, and business opportunities simultaneously
- Proven ability to take initiative and operate with a high level of autonomy, while remaining accountable for territory objectives and results
