Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kforce is recruiting for an unnamed client seeking a Senior Financial Analyst FP&A Lead. The role supports financial planning, expense analysis, forecasting, reporting, and month-end close, while developing financial models and insights to inform business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current and historical financial performance and operating results
- Prepare monthly financial reports, projections, and management reporting packages
- Perform detailed operating expense (OpEx) variance analysis
- Support monthly close, including preparation and analysis of accruals
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reporting tools
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyze actual results against budget and forecast
- Prepare financial presentations and insights for senior leadership
- Develop ad hoc financial reports and analysis for management and cross-functional teams
- Support revenue and margin analysis as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, modeling, and FP&A processes
Skills
- Senior Financial Analyst-level experience or higher
- Strong FP&A, finance, and accounting background
- Experience with financial modeling, reporting, and forecasting
- Strong month-end close and accrual experience
- Experience analyzing operating expenses and financial variances
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to quickly adapt and contribute in a fast-paced environment
