[Remote] Senior Growth Equity Investor

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sanderson King is supporting an investor-backed capital solutions platform hiring a Senior Growth Equity Investor for its US team. The role develops investment views on late-stage and pre-IPO technology companies, sources opportunities through GP relationships, and leads underwriting and investment committee presentations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain investment views on a focused portfolio of late-stage private technology companies
• Develop GP relationships to source opportunities and secure access to investment rounds
• Lead due diligence across revenue performance, valuation, capital structures, financing terms and exit scenarios
• Build MOIC and IRR models, including downside and stress cases
• Write investment memoranda and present recommendations to senior leadership and the Risk Committee
• Help develop the firm’s proprietary data and analytics capabilities

Skills

• Typically 4–8 years' relevant experience in growth equity, late-stage venture investing, software private equity or TMT/pre-IPO investment banking
• Direct underwriting experience on significant late-stage technology transactions, ideally including major private rounds, crossover financings or IPOs
• Active coverage of leading AI, deep tech or defense technology businesses
• Strong financial modelling, cap table analysis and venture deal structuring skills
• Commercial confidence to build relationships and take ownership of deals from start to finish
• Comfortable working in a small, evolving business with direct founder exposure
• Applicants must be based in the United States and able to work without visa sponsorship
