[Remote] Senior Marketing Designer (Performance Creative)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sequencing is hiring a Senior Marketing Designer to create performance-focused creative that helps consumers understand and act on personalized genomic health insights. The role partners with growth, lifecycle, and product marketing teams to design and test social ads, customer experiences, and brand assets, using AI tools as part of the creative process.

Responsibilities

• Create social ads that perform. Design ads for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, including static images, motion graphics, creator-style videos, and AI-generated video
• Test and learn. Try a wide range of ideas, messages, formats, and visual styles. Review results with the growth team, and build on what works across platforms
• Build with AI every day. Use tools like Runway, Midjourney, Kling, and ElevenLabs to speed up production and explore new ideas. Share new tools with the team as you find them
• Design the customer experience. Design and iterate on landing pages (Unbounce and similar tools), email and lifecycle creative, and subscription experiences so the journey converts as well as the ad
• Make the science simple. Turn complex DNA and genome concepts into clear visuals that a curious, non-scientist audience can understand
• Keep the system sharp. Evolve our brand system and maintain Figma files, templates, and asset libraries organized so the whole team can work efficiently

Skills

• 5+ years in marketing, growth, or performance design
• A portfolio of social media ads
• The ability to explain what you tested, what worked, and why
• A strong understanding of what works on Meta, TikTok, and YouTube today
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for images, video, voice, or editing in your day-to-day work
• Strong motion and video editing skills (After Effects, Premiere, CapCut, or similar)
• Advanced Figma skills
• Good visual taste
• The ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality
• Comfort working independently
• You spot opportunities
• Share ideas
• Carry projects from concept to launch
• Ideally at a consumer or wellness brand
• Experience in health tech, genomics, supplements, or subscription businesses
• Landing page CRO experience: you've run A/B tests on pages, not just ads
• You've shot, directed, or edited creator-led and UGC-style content
