Remote Position
[Remote] Senior Product Manager, Shopping Experience
π Remote Β· United States
πΌ Full-time
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Minted is a digitally native marketplace that connects independent artists with consumers through art, stationery, textiles, and home products. The Senior Product Manager will own the strategy and roadmap for shopping discovery surfaces, including search, browse, category, and product detail experiences, using product data, experimentation, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to improve customer value and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own and continuously maintain the prioritized list of customer problems across search, browse, category, and product detail. Keep it current using behavioral data, user research, customer support and concierge signals, session replay, and competitive scans
- Turn our new product data foundation into customer value on your surfaces: attribute-driven search and browse, dynamic product detail and category pages, and crawlable filtered navigation
- Develop the roadmap and initiative scope for your team against the objectives and key results you set with your manager, using data, customer insight, and technical capability to size, sequence, and shape the work
- Shape solutions with engineering and design. You hold the business problem and the value case, design holds the experience, engineering holds feasibility and cost. Your job is to find the right-sized solution where the three meet
- Maintain product briefs that set a new standard for foresight and rationale for Minted, stating the assumptions, the growth lever, the customer problem, the success criteria, and the instrumentation plan explicitly
- Specify the instrumentation plan for everything you ship, including the events that power key metrics and KPIs and the tracking behind on-site clicks and interactions
- Run a high-velocity test program across your surfaces. Design tests with the intent to launch and productionalize them if they win. Know how to measure the right things and have a point of view not only on what worked or didnβt work, but *why* and *what to do next*
- Connect every experience change to the metric it moves and the margin logic behind it. Understand how Minted makes money well enough to teach it to someone else
- Monitor e-commerce, retail, and discovery trends, competitive customer experiences, and the movement of product discovery into AI assistants. Integrate customer feedback, usability studies, research data, and competitive analysis into your requirements
- Partner with the teams you depend on across product data, customization and rendering, checkout, merchandising, category management, brand, and marketing. Negotiate the dependencies your initiatives create, and surface the ones that need portfolio-level resolution
- Run project kickoffs and read-outs, communicating agreed requirements, scope in and out, and timeline to every team and stakeholder involved
- Prioritize and revise the backlog through delivery, handle scope changes, prepare Customer Service and other affected teams ahead of launch, and complete user acceptance testing on primary paths
- Report results against your objectives and KPIs, share the insight with stakeholders, and decide how each result reshapes the roadmap
