Why This Role Matters
In the fast‑moving world of fintech, the customer journey is more than a series of touchpoints—it’s a living, breathing ecosystem that must adapt in real time to user intent, market dynamics, and regulatory shifts. As the Senior Product Marketing Manager – Lifecycle & Customer Communications at brighthush, you will be the architect of this ecosystem. You will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle strategy, craft compelling customer communications, and drive measurable lift in conversion, retention, and lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities
- End‑to‑End Communications Architecture – Design and maintain a unified, up‑to‑date communications framework that spans email, SMS, in‑app messaging, and call scripting. Ensure each channel is aligned with the funnel stages (pre‑submission, conversion, onboarding, renewal, advocacy).
- Segmentation & Personalization Engine – Build a sophisticated segmentation model that leverages user behavior, lead source, intent signals, lifecycle stage, and telemetry data. Translate these segments into highly contextual, high‑impact messaging.
- AI‑Powered Customer Engagement – Champion the integration of AI decision‑making into lifecycle marketing. Use generative AI for content creation, dynamic creative personalization, and automated campaign optimization to accelerate execution and improve relevance.
- In‑App & Multi‑Channel Experience Design – Partner with Product and UX to develop contextual in‑app messaging, tooltips, and guided flows that drive feature adoption at the exact moment of user intent.
- Conversion Optimization & Analytics – Collaborate closely with Performance Marketing, Brand, Product, Sales, Operations, and Data Science to identify friction points, test hypotheses, and deliver measurable conversion lift.
- Cross‑Functional GTM Leadership – Lead product launch strategies for new features, tiered offerings, and service enhancements. Define target audiences, messaging pillars, channel mix, and success metrics.
- Enablement & Positioning – Work with Sales, Operations, and Customer Success to create high‑converting call scripts, pitch decks, release briefs, and playbooks that resonate with prospects and customers alike.
- Rigorous Experimentation Framework – Partner with Analytics to design holdout‑based incrementality testing, A/B experiments, and multivariate studies that quantify business impact on conversion and revenue.
- MarTech & Operational Excellence – Own lifecycle marketing platforms (e.g., Braze, HubSpot, Customer.io) and vendor relationships. Establish governance, deliverability best practices, and scalable processes.
- Compliance & Governance – Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to set up review workflows that ensure all communications meet regulatory standards, especially as personalization and AI scale.
- Customer Intelligence & Voice of Customer – Synthesize qualitative insights from Voice of Customer, User Research, and quantitative survey data to uncover friction points, inform messaging strategy, and influence product roadmap.
