[Remote] Senior Vice President Marketing

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Türkiye Öğrenci Senatosu / Student Senate of Türkiye (Turkish Student Senate) is seeking a Senior Vice President Marketing to shape and execute the organization’s marketing vision and strategy. The role leads national campaigns, the marketing team, integrated marketing planning, research and data analysis, and consistent messaging across channels. It also manages budgets and performance targets, monitors campaign effectiveness, and optimizes outreach to students, universities, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Shaping and executing the organization’s overall marketing vision and strategy
• Oversees the planning and implementation of national campaigns that promote student engagement, advocacy initiatives, and institutional partnerships
• Leading the marketing team, developing integrated marketing plans, guiding market research and data analysis, and aligning messaging across digital, social, and traditional channels
• Collaborates closely with executive leadership, regional coordinators, and communications teams to ensure consistent brand positioning and effective outreach to students, universities, and stakeholders
• Managing budgets, setting performance targets, monitoring campaign effectiveness, and continually optimizing strategies to expand awareness and impact

Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in Marketing Management and Marketing, including leading multi-channel campaigns and overseeing marketing operations
• Strong capabilities in Market Planning and Market Research, with experience using data-driven insights to guide strategy and decision-making
• Proficiency in Public Relations, including media relations, reputation management, and stakeholder communication
• Proven leadership experience in senior marketing roles, with ability to mentor and develop diverse, distributed teams
• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to translate organizational goals into actionable marketing initiatives
• Advanced communication skills in written and spoken English
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• Turkish language proficiency is highly beneficial
• Experience in non-profit, educational, student-led, or advocacy organizations is an advantage
• Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred
