[Remote] ServiceNow Project Manager

The role leads enterprise ServiceNow implementations and related initiatives, overseeing project delivery, finances, teams, risks, and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale ServiceNow implementation, enhancement, and transformation projects for enterprise clients
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource assignments
• Manage project execution to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
• Coordinate activities across technical teams, consultants, client stakeholders, and third-party vendors
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery challenges
• Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, stakeholder communications, and executive updates
• Manage project scope and change requests while ensuring alignment with contractual commitments
• Support multiple workstreams and coordinate cross-functional teams on complex enterprise initiatives
• Take ownership of project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, actual costs, and resource utilization
• Track project hours, labor costs, burn rates, and remaining project budgets
• Manage financial reporting and provide accurate forecasts of project costs and completion estimates
• Monitor project profitability, margins, and financial risks within a consulting or professional services delivery model
• Support time-and-materials (T&M) and fixed-fee engagements, including tracking contractual deliverables and financial commitments
• Identify potential budget overruns, scope changes, and resource constraints before they impact delivery
• Partner with delivery leadership and account teams to maintain financial accountability and project performance
• Ensure accurate time tracking, resource allocation, and project financial documentation
• Manage projects involving ServiceNow implementations, integrations, upgrades, or platform enhancements
• Collaborate with ServiceNow technical consultants, developers, architects, and business stakeholders
• Understand ServiceNow implementation methodologies, project dependencies, and common delivery challenges
• Coordinate requirements gathering, solution development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities
• Support Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies depending on client requirements
• Ensure project activities align with ServiceNow implementation best practices and client expectations

Skills

• The ideal candidates will bring a minimum of five years of project management experience, including at least two years managing ServiceNow-related projects
• These individuals must be comfortable operating in a professional services or consulting environment, managing complex enterprise initiatives, and maintaining strong oversight of project financials, budgets, resources, and delivery timelines
• Successful candidates must demonstrate strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
• 5+ years of professional project management experience, preferably managing enterprise technology initiatives
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing ServiceNow-related projects, including implementations, enhancements, or enterprise platform initiatives
• Previous experience working for a consulting firm, systems integrator, or professional services organization
• Demonstrated success managing large, complex enterprise technology projects involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams
• Strong financial project management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, resource utilization, and financial reporting
• Experience managing time-and-materials (T&M) engagements, project burn rates, and resource allocations
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, and change requests
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently, quickly assess project needs, and take ownership of deliverables
• Proficiency with project management and reporting tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
• PMP certification
• Experience delivering ServiceNow projects within a consulting or systems integration environment
• Familiarity with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, or IRM
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar technology projects or enterprise transformation programs
• Experience with professional services financial metrics, including project margins, revenue forecasting, and earned value
• Experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements
• Familiarity with statements of work (SOWs), change orders, and contractual project obligations
• Experience working directly with executive leadership and enterprise-level clients
