Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Colossus Technologies Group is partnering with an established software company seeking a Staff Software Engineer. The role builds and scales SaaS, e-commerce, and consumer-facing applications, with ownership of architecture, feature development, technical direction, and engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Own projects from requirements and design through development, testing, and release
- Design scalable applications and distributed systems using C#, React, Azure, and SQL Server
- Guide architectural decisions and improve application performance, reliability, and security
- Collaborate across engineering and business teams to translate priorities into product improvements
- Mentor engineers and establish strong development practices
Skills
- Extensive software engineering experience, ideally 10+ years
- Strong C#, React, SQL, and Azure experience
- Experience delivering SaaS platforms, e-commerce products, or consumer-facing web applications and APIs
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Ability to own complex work independently and influence technical decisions across teams
- Interest in applying AI development tools to improve engineering productivity
