Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Atlassian is hiring a Strategy and Business Operations Principal to partner with its Rovo and AI organization. The role drives strategic planning, data-driven decisions, operational processes, and business reviews, while helping leaders assess AI innovations and business performance.
Responsibilities
- Map fast-moving innovations in the AI space to impacts on company-wide priorities and roadmaps
- Drive strategic and data-driven decision-making and help inform business decisions through thorough analysis, research and insights
- Lead and manage key operational processes to crystallize long range planning, short and medium term plans to get there, and OKRs / frameworks to measure the outcomes
- Own and drive business reviews to inform the Rovo & AI leaders and Atlassian’s executive team of progress against operational plans and health of key drivers of the business
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, sales, marketing, data science and finance teams
Skills
- Have 8+ years experience in high growth software / tech industry in BizOps and / or consulting, investment banking roles
- Be comfortable with ambiguity and take a structured approach to decision-making
- Have strong executive presence with excellent verbal & written communications skills
- Use a range of AI tools to materially accelerate your own work
- Bring a deep sense of ownership and a desire to run independently
- Be intellectually curious and genuinely excited about technology
