[Remote] Technical Sales Representative - Box on Demand

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Smurfit Westrock is hiring a Technical Sales Representative for its Box on Demand team. The role grows a sales territory by developing customer opportunities, recommending technical packaging and automation solutions, managing client relationships, and coordinating solution implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develops new business prospects into viable opportunities
• Meets with potential clients and partners to understand their unique challenges
• Collaborates across the Smurfit WestRock enterprise to prepare, coordinate, and conduct complex technical presentations to key decision makers
• Negotiates long term partnership agreements
• Ensures successful solution implementation with effective coordination of internal teams delivering the best solution to the customer
• Continues growing the business by managing difficult customer situations and forging strong partnerships
• Attends trade shows and represents Smurfit Westrock Box on Demand products in the marketplace

• Bachelor's Degree in business or engineering is required
• 5 years of experience interfacing with customers in a sales environment
• B2B sales experience, with a high technical background
• Experience selling material handling industrial automation systems and components to industrial and manufacturing end users
• AutoCAD (highly preferred)
• Knowledge of Box on Demand robotics and packaging systems
