Remote Position
[Remote] Vice President, Client Delivery & Transformation - UM / CM Healthcare
🌍 Remote · United States
💼 Full-time
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Zyter | TruCare is seeking a Vice President, Client Delivery & Transformation to lead large-scale healthcare transformation programs for payer clients. The role combines hands-on strategic program leadership, Model Office delivery, business-process and AI-enabled workflow design, and development of a scalable functional delivery team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior hands-on delivery leader for one or more of Zyter's largest and most strategic client transformation programs
- Establish credibility with senior client business, clinical, operations and technology leaders and become a trusted partner in translating transformation objectives into executable programs
- Lead from the front — facilitating working sessions, resolving difficult design decisions, challenging teams when necessary and driving the program toward measurable outcomes
- Maintain accountability for overall program outcomes across business design, configuration, implementation, adoption and operational readiness
- Anticipate delivery risks and dependencies and actively intervene rather than relying solely on traditional escalation and governance mechanisms
- Rapidly absorb and scale Zyter's existing Model Office methodology and assets
- Lead clients through the definition of a global process model representing the target-state operating model and standard workflows
- Identify where client businesses, products, markets or regulatory requirements legitimately require local design variations, while challenging unnecessary customization
- Translate target-state workflows into detailed functional requirements, decision logic, configuration requirements, integrations and AI-enabled workflows
- Create reusable patterns and assets so that each implementation improves the speed and quality of subsequent deployments
- Ensure that Model Office designs move beyond PowerPoint and workshops into executable platform configurations and operational processes
- Act as the primary functional bridge between client operations and Zyter's product, AI and engineering teams
- Translate business processes and jobs-to-be-done into platform capabilities, workflow configurations, agent behaviors and technical requirements
- Work closely with technical architects and engineering leads responsible for the underlying architecture, integrations, data and deployment
- Understand the capabilities and limitations of AI sufficiently to lead clients through AI-enabled workflow design without needing to personally serve as the AI engineer
- Oversee the functional aspects of AI model tuning and validation, including use cases such as Policy IQ, ensuring that outputs reflect client policies, clinical requirements and operational expectations
- Help define appropriate evaluation criteria, human-in-the-loop processes, exception handling and operational controls required to deploy AI safely into production workflows
- Drive the connection between AI capabilities and actual workflow redesign rather than treating AI as a standalone technology implementation
- Lead, coach and develop a team of functional delivery leaders, FDEs, business analysts and program managers
- Establish clear roles between functional delivery, program management, product, engineering and technical implementation teams
- Personally coach teams on how to structure complex problems, facilitate client decisions and translate ambiguous business requirements into executable designs
- Establish repeatable delivery playbooks, templates, governance and quality standards across major programs
- Build a culture where delivery leaders are accountable for outcomes rather than simply managing schedules and status reporting
- Identify capability gaps and help recruit and develop the next generation of Zyter delivery leaders
- Establish clear program milestones and measurable business outcomes from the beginning of each engagement
- Ensure alignment across process design, platform configuration, AI tuning, integrations, testing, change management and deployment
- Drive rapid issue resolution across organizational boundaries
- Ensure programs maintain appropriate executive governance while preserving the speed and hands-on problem solving required for complex transformations
- Partner with Client Success leadership to identify opportunities for expansion, additional use cases and increased value from the Zyter platform
Skills
- 12–18+ years of experience leading complex business and technology transformation programs, preferably within healthcare
- Significant experience in a top-tier consulting firm, healthcare technology organization, payer or similarly complex transformation environment
- Demonstrated experience personally leading large, multi-workstream enterprise transformations from design through implementation
- Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations
- Experience in areas such as Utilization Management, Care Management, Prior Authorization, clinical operations or payer administrative workflows is highly desirable
- Experience implementing enterprise platforms where business process redesign, configuration, data, integrations and organizational change must come together
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing program managers, functional consultants, business analysts or similar delivery teams
- A player-coach
- Comfortable leading a team while personally jumping into a process-design session, reviewing a workflow, resolving a configuration question or working directly with a client executive
- A transformation leader, not simply a PM
- Understands how businesses actually operate and can translate strategy and operating-model concepts into workflows, requirements and deployed solutions
- Structured but pragmatic
- Brings consulting-level problem solving and structure without creating unnecessary methodology or bureaucracy
- Technology fluent
- Can engage credibly with architects, engineers, product managers and AI teams while remaining fundamentally focused on solving the client's business problem
- Fast-learning
- Able to quickly understand Zyter's platforms, Model Office methodology, healthcare workflows and AI capabilities and begin applying them to live client programs
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Thrives in environments where the answer has not already been defined and where business, product and technology teams must solve problems together
- Executive-ready and detail-oriented
- Equally comfortable presenting to a client COO or CIO and spending several hours with a delivery team working through a difficult workflow or implementation issue
- Experience working with AI-enabled products, decision-support technologies or advanced automation is preferred
Benefits
- Remote work
