Senior Customer AI Engineer – Token Factory Specialist – Driving Production‑Ready AI Deployments at brighthush
About brighthush
brighthush is at the forefront of the next generation of cloud infrastructure designed specifically for the global AI economy. Our mission is to empower developers and enterprises to build, train, and deploy large‑scale AI models without the overhead of managing complex, costly in‑house infrastructure. By delivering a fully integrated AI cloud platform that spans data ingestion, model training, inference optimization, and production deployment, we eliminate the friction that traditionally slows AI adoption.
Founded by engineers for engineers, brighthush tackles the hardest challenges in GPU orchestration, distributed systems, storage, networking, and applied AI. Our platform is engineered to scale from a single proof‑of‑concept to millions of inference requests per second, all while maintaining cost efficiency and reliability.
With a global footprint that includes research and development hubs in Europe, the United Kingdom, North America, and Israel, brighthush employs over 1,500 professionals—hundreds of whom are seasoned engineers with deep expertise in hardware, software, and AI research. We are listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and are rapidly expanding our reach across the world.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Customer AI Engineer to join our Token Factory team. In this hybrid role, you will bridge engineering, delivery, and customer success to ensure that our customers transition smoothly from proof‑of‑concept to production, scaling their AI workloads on the brighthush platform.
As a key technical partner, you will collaborate closely with customer engineering teams, Solution Architects, and our Product & Infrastructure squads to deliver stable, high‑performance, and cost‑effective AI deployments. This is not a sales, pure support, or solution‑architect role; it is a strategic, execution‑focused position that drives tangible outcomes for our customers.
Remote work is supported across Europe, allowing you to collaborate with a distributed team while staying connected to our vibrant, collaborative culture.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Production Journey
- Lead the end‑to‑end transition of customer projects from PoC to fully operational production environments.
- Define and enforce best‑practice deployment pipelines that guarantee reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Measure and accelerate time‑to‑production and time‑to‑value metrics, ensuring customers realize ROI as quickly as possible.
Ensure Technical Success in Production
- Deeply understand customer architectures, use cases, and business objectives.
- Continuously monitor key performance indicators—latency, throughput, cost per inference, and uptime—and implement proactive optimizations.
- Identify bottlenecks, root‑cause issues, and recommend architectural or configuration changes that improve overall system health.
Act as a Trusted Technical Partner
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for customer engineering teams, providing guidance on best practices, security, and compliance.
- Translate complex technical challenges into actionable, customer‑centric solutions that align with business goals.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions, workshops, and training to empower customers to manage their own deployments.
Manage Risks and Incidents
- Act as the first point of contact for production incidents, coordinating rapid response across internal teams.
- Own incident post‑mortems, documenting lessons learned and driving continuous improvement.
- Communicate clearly and calmly during high‑pressure situations, ensuring stakeholders are informed and expectations are managed.
Drive Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to optimize resource utilization, reduce costs, and expand usage across customer portfolios.
- Provide structured, data‑driven feedback to Product & Infrastructure teams, influencing roadmap decisions.
- Help shape new features and services that better meet real‑world customer needs.
