Role Overview

As a Senior Customer Solution Architect at brighthush, you will be the bridge between our cutting‑edge platform and the diverse needs of our enterprise customers. You will design, articulate, and deliver end‑to‑end solutions that leverage brighthush’s cloud‑native services, relational databases, and data analytics capabilities. Your deep technical expertise, combined with strong communication and project‑management skills, will enable you to guide customers through discovery, implementation, and adoption phases, ensuring they achieve measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Architecture: Craft scalable, secure, and high‑performance architecture blueprints that integrate brighthush’s PostgreSQL‑based services with customers’ existing tech stacks.
• Discovery & Consultation: Lead discovery workshops with stakeholders to surface business requirements, technical constraints, and success metrics.
• Proof‑of‑Concept & Prototyping: Build rapid prototypes using Python, C#, Node.js, and front‑end frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte) to validate concepts and demonstrate value.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor junior architects and developers, providing code reviews, best‑practice guidance, and architectural governance.
• Customer Enablement: Deliver workshops, training sessions, and documentation that empower customers to self‑serve and adopt brighthush solutions.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support teams to shape product roadmaps and improve customer experience.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze database workloads, query performance, and infrastructure utilization to recommend optimizations and cost‑saving strategies.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure all solutions meet industry standards (GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001) and internal security policies.
• Thought Leadership: Represent brighthush at conferences, meetups, and webinars, sharing insights on cloud architecture, data engineering, and developer experience.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in solutions architecture, database engineering, or a closely related field.
• Proven expertise in relational databases, especially PostgreSQL and MySQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Strong programming background in Python, C#, and JavaScript (Node.js) with hands‑on experience building web services and APIs.
• Experience with modern front‑end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Svelte.
• Hands‑on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data analytics tools (BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Demonstrated project‑management experience, including scoping, timelines, and stakeholder coordination.
