As we expand our footprint across the public sector, we need visionary leaders who can champion our platform, drive adoption, and create lasting value for our government partners.
Position Overview
The Senior Customer Value Partner – Public Sector is a senior‑level, customer‑centric role that sits at the intersection of strategic consulting, relationship management, and technology enablement. Reporting to the Director of Public‑Sector Success, you will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of our government customers—from onboarding and adoption through renewal and expansion. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping agencies translate brighthush’s AI capabilities into concrete workforce outcomes, while simultaneously identifying growth opportunities that deepen the partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Adoption & Enablement: Lead cross‑functional teams to design and execute adoption roadmaps that align brighthush’s platform capabilities with the unique policy, compliance, and operational goals of state, local, and federal agencies.
- Renewal Management: Own the renewal process for a portfolio of high‑value public‑sector accounts, ensuring timely contract extensions, accurate forecasting, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Upsell & Expansion: Identify and cultivate upsell opportunities by uncovering unmet needs, proposing additional modules or services, and building business cases that demonstrate ROI.
- Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with senior government officials, HR leaders, and procurement officers, positioning brighthush as a strategic partner rather than a vendor.
- Data‑Driven Success Planning: Leverage platform analytics to develop success metrics, track adoption KPIs, and present regular performance dashboards to stakeholders.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Legal teams to ensure that public‑sector requirements are reflected in product roadmaps, compliance documentation, and go‑to‑market strategies.
- Thought Leadership: Represent brighthush at industry conferences, webinars, and government forums, sharing best practices and thought leadership on AI‑driven talent management.
- Travel & On‑Site Support: Conduct periodic on‑site visits (10‑15% travel) to deepen relationships, conduct workshops, and provide hands‑on training for agency teams.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in management consulting, HR talent acquisition, customer success, or account management, with a proven track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience working with state, local, or federal government agencies, understanding procurement cycles, compliance mandates, and public‑sector budgeting processes.
- Strong consultative selling skills, including the ability to craft compelling business cases, negotiate contracts, and close renewal or expansion deals.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing senior executives and translating technical concepts into clear, actionable language.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the HR technology or AI‑driven talent solutions space.

- Familiarity with government procurement platforms (e.g., SAM.gov, GSA schedules) and compliance frameworks (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP).
- Proven ability to manage a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment and navigate political dynamics.
Core Skills & Competencies
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture, align technology solutions with policy objectives, and anticipate future needs.
