Role Description The Senior Director of Data Architecture is a full-time remote role responsible for defining and overseeing AridBeep’s enterprise data architecture across all platforms and services. This role leads the design and implementation of scalable data models and data flows that support business intelligence, operational reporting, and strategic decision-making. The Senior Director collaborates closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data solutions and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding data governance practices, reviewing and optimizing data infrastructure, mentoring data and architecture teams, and ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and performance goals. The position also involves managing complex data-related projects, setting technical roadmaps, and continuously improving data architecture to support new services and growth.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Data Modeling and Architecture skills for designing scalable, reliable, and secure data solutions. Candidates should possess Enterprise Architecture skills to align data strategy with overall technology and business objectives. Candidates should possess Team Leadership and Project Management skills to oversee cross-functional initiatives and guide technical teams. Advanced experience with modern data platforms, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and cloud data services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and compliance best practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a track record of influencing senior leadership. Prior experience in a senior data or enterprise architecture role, preferably in IT services, connectivity, or technology-driven organizations. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
