Key Responsibilities

As the Engineering Manager for our Customer Studio, you will be the linchpin between product vision, engineering excellence, and team development. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:

  • Process & Delivery Excellence: Drive shipping velocity and reliability through observability, proactive issue detection, and robust incident management.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, data scientists, and customer success to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular one‑on‑ones, set clear OKRs, provide constructive feedback, and manage performance reviews.
  • Technical Vision: Make sound architecture and system design decisions that scale with our growing customer base.

Essential Qualifications

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a formal engineering management role.
  • Proven track record of building products in high‑growth startups, scale‑ups, or as a founder.
  • Hands‑on coding ability—comfortable contributing directly to production code.
  • Deep experience with data warehouses, SQL, Reverse ETL, customer data platforms, change data capture, analytics, experimentation, or generative AI.
  • Strong communication skills—able to articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, and develop engineering talent.
  • Top‑tier computer science education or equivalent practical experience.
