Why This Role Matters

The Senior Enterprise Customer Success Manager (CSM) at brighthush is a strategic leader who owns the entire customer journey for high‑value enterprise accounts. Your influence directly shapes revenue, retention, and product adoption. In a landscape where insider risk, AI misuse, and data protection challenges evolve daily, you will be the trusted advisor who keeps customers ahead of threats and ahead of the competition.

Core Responsibilities

  • Outcome Ownership: Own the end‑to‑end success of each account. From onboarding to renewal, you are accountable for adoption metrics, health scores, and revenue targets. When a customer faces a challenge, you take full responsibility for resolution—identifying the right stakeholders, coordinating resources, and driving the issue to closure.
  • Lifecycle Leadership: Champion the entire customer journey. Develop and execute success plans, run quarterly business reviews, and maintain a cadence of proactive check‑ins that keep customers engaged and aligned with their strategic goals.
  • Value Delivery: Translate brighthush capabilities into concrete business outcomes. Work closely with security, IT, and executive stakeholders to map risk indicators to operational priorities, track milestone progress, and deliver data‑driven evidence of value.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate multi‑layered relationships across security, IT, legal, HR, fraud, procurement, and executive circles. Your ability to engage confidently with both technical teams and C‑suite leaders is essential for building trust and driving adoption.
  • Renewal Readiness: Prepare customers for renewal by showcasing value, aligning stakeholder expectations, and forecasting accurately. Identify expansion opportunities, collaborate with Sales on upsell strategies, and ensure that renewal conversations are data‑backed and forward‑looking.
  • Escalation Management: Lead communication during escalations. Keep all parties informed, bring in the appropriate technical or leadership resources, and recommend clear next steps that resolve issues swiftly and transparently.
  • Cross‑Functional Syncs: Facilitate structured internal meetings with Sales, Technical Success, Support, Engineering, Product, Services, and Intelligence & Investigations. Share insights, assign owners, and set realistic deadlines to keep momentum and accountability high.
  • Data Management: Maintain meticulous records in our CRM and success platform. Update scorecards, stakeholder maps, health signals, renewal forecasts, risk logs, and value evidence to ensure visibility across the organization.

Technical and Enterprise Insider Risk Expectations

As a trusted advisor, you will engage customers on insider risk, user behavior analytics, data protection, security operations, privacy, and compliance. You will guide organizations at all maturity levels, from early adopters to seasoned practitioners. While you will not replace implementation or technical success specialists, you will recognize risk patterns, ask incisive questions, and translate technical findings into business impact. Continuous learning is a core expectation—you will stay current on industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory changes. Leveraging approved AI tools, you will automate routine tasks, enhance research, and refine risk identification, all while safeguarding sensitive information.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in enterprise SaaS customer success, cybersecurity consulting, or related fields.
  • Track Record: Proven history of managing high‑value accounts, driving adoption, and securing renewals.
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of security operations, insider risk, data protection, and privacy frameworks.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into executive‑friendly language.
  • Influence: Experience coordinating cross‑functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government.
  • Familiarity with customer‑success platforms (e.g., brighthush) and CRM systems (e.g., brighthush).
  • Certifications in cybersecurity (CISSP, CISM) or project management (PMP, ScrumMaster).
  • Experience with AI‑driven analytics or behavioral intelligence tools.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Consulting Mindset: Ability to uncover the underlying business driver behind every request and deliver solutions that solve real problems.
  • Business‑Tech Translation: Skill in explaining complex technical details in clear, actionable business terms.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Maintain composure, build rapport, and drive alignment in high‑pressure situations.
  • Ownership & Accountability: Demonstrated ability to take full responsibility for outcomes and to collaborate across teams to deliver results.
  • Strategic Thinking: Anticipate future customer needs, identify expansion opportunities, and align them with product roadmaps.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Use metrics and analytics to inform strategy, forecast renewals, and measure success.

Career Growth & Learning Opportunities

At brighthush, your career trajectory is designed to match your ambition. As the CSM function scales, you will have the chance to shape best practices, influence product development through the Voice of the Customer, and mentor junior team members. We invest heavily in professional development—offering access to industry conferences, advanced training, and certifications. Whether you aspire to move into senior account management, product strategy, or leadership roles, brighthush provides the resources and support to help you reach those goals.

In addition to competitive base pay, you will be eligible for performance‑based bonuses, equity participation, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision coverage.
