Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Frontend Customer Success Engineer to become the linchpin between our engineering teams and the developers who rely on our APIs and SDKs. In this role, you will champion the developer experience, ensuring that our partners can seamlessly integrate, troubleshoot, and optimize their applications on the brighthush platform. You will act as a technical advocate, translating complex product features into actionable guidance, and driving continuous improvement across our support processes.
As a key member of the Customer Success Engineering team, you will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Support to deliver world‑class service, reduce time‑to‑resolution, and elevate the overall satisfaction of our developer community.
Key Responsibilities
- Developer Advocacy & Onboarding: Lead the technical onboarding of new partners, guiding them through API authentication, SDK integration, and best practices for secure, scalable implementations. Create onboarding playbooks, run live workshops, and maintain a library of starter kits that accelerate time‑to‑value.
- Technical Support & Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for high‑priority support tickets, diagnosing and resolving complex frontend integration issues with precision and empathy. Use advanced debugging tools, network analysis, and performance profiling to deliver root‑cause solutions.
- Documentation & Knowledge Base Enhancement: Collaborate with Technical Writers to produce clear, concise, and up‑to‑date documentation, tutorials, and troubleshooting guides that empower developers to solve problems independently. Own the documentation roadmap and ensure it reflects the latest API and SDK releases.
- Feedback Loop & Product Improvement: Capture and analyze recurring pain points, translating them into actionable insights for Product and Engineering to refine API design, SDK features, and overall platform usability. Champion a data‑driven approach to product iteration.
- Community Engagement: Represent brighthush at developer conferences, webinars, and community forums, sharing best practices, gathering feedback, and building a vibrant ecosystem of partners. Act as a thought leader in the FinTech developer community.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor frontend integration performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimizations to improve load times, error rates, and overall user experience. Work with the Site Reliability Engineering team to implement monitoring dashboards and alerting rules.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Security, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure that all integrations meet regulatory requirements and adhere to industry standards such as PCI DSS, PSD2, and GDPR.
- Mentorship & Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. Lead knowledge‑sharing sessions and code reviews to elevate the team's skill set.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in frontend engineering with a strong focus on JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Vue.js. Proven track record of delivering production‑ready code and maintaining high code quality.

- SDK Development: Hands‑on experience building and distributing SDKs across multiple platforms (web, mobile, Node.js). Familiarity with package managers (npm, yarn, pip) and versioning best practices.
- Debugging & Performance: Strong debugging skills, proficiency in browser dev tools, network analysis, and performance profiling. Ability to identify and remediate performance regressions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for developers and internal teams.
- Self‑Direction: Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high‑quality results under tight deadlines.
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git). Experience with automated testing and continuous integration.
