Role Overview

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer on our Customer Context team, you will architect, build, and scale the foundational services that power our AI‑driven marketing platform. Your work will directly influence how brands engage with their customers, driving measurable business outcomes. You’ll collaborate with product, data science, and go‑to‑market teams in an async‑first environment, ensuring that every feature is reliable, scalable, and aligned with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Own End‑to‑End Systems – Take deep ownership of core services and product areas, becoming the go‑to technical expert for your domain.
• Design & Execute Ambiguous Solutions – Tackle complex, high‑ambiguity problems across distributed systems, delivering robust, production‑grade solutions.
• Build Scalable APIs – Architect, develop, and maintain highly available, scalable REST APIs and backend services for internal and external consumption.
• Drive System Decoupling – Lead initiatives to modularize codebases, reduce technical debt, and improve long‑term maintainability without stalling short‑term delivery.
• Agentic Development – Embrace concurrent autonomous agent workflows, owning the output and ensuring a steady queue of aligned work.
• AI Innovation – Stay at the forefront of AI tooling, integrating new techniques into our systems and raising the bar for engineering excellence.

Essential Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building large‑scale, data‑intensive backend systems and APIs.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, React, and TypeScript (or equivalent).
• Deep familiarity with event‑driven distributed systems, Kafka, and distributed data processing (Flink, Spark, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience scaling systems from early stages to multi‑terabyte workloads on AWS.
• Strong database skills: relational modeling, index strategy, and performance‑tuned SQL for transactional and analytical workloads.
• Proficiency with infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform) and observability tools (Datadog, Signoz, etc.).
• Active daily user of AI coding tools (Claude, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) with concrete examples of how they’ve accelerated your workflow.
• Experience with both 0‑to‑1 initiatives and complex existing systems, balancing new feature development with system improvement.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of surfacing information proactively in async teams.
• Strong instincts for technical trade‑offs informed by engineering best practices and business priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with serverless architectures and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of real‑time analytics pipelines and streaming data platforms.
