Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced MDM Customer Architect to join our dynamic consulting practice. In this senior role, you will lead the design and delivery of end‑to‑end MDM solutions for high‑profile clients, leveraging Informatica IDMC and a suite of cloud data platforms. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating complex business requirements into scalable, cloud‑native architectures that integrate seamlessly with CRM, ERP, and data‑as‑a‑service (DaaS) ecosystems. Your expertise will shape the technical roadmap, mentor junior consultants, and influence the strategic direction of our MDM practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design robust, scalable MDM solutions using Informatica IDMC, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, and AWS that meet client business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Solution Design & Documentation: Produce detailed architecture diagrams, data models, integration flows, and technical specifications that guide implementation teams.
- Client Engagement: Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, and technical reviews with stakeholders to capture requirements, assess data quality, and define governance policies.
- Mentorship & Knowledge Transfer: Coach junior consultants on MDM best practices, architecture patterns, and tool capabilities; facilitate knowledge sharing across the practice.
- Integration & Data Flow: Design and oversee the integration of MDM with CRM/ERP systems, data lakes, and DaaS platforms, ensuring seamless data movement and synchronization.
- ETL & API Development: Lead the development of ETL pipelines and RESTful APIs that support data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across cloud environments.
- Performance & Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimizations to improve data throughput and latency.
- Governance & Compliance: Define data governance frameworks, master data stewardship processes, and security controls that align with industry regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
- Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay current with emerging MDM trends, cloud services, and data architecture patterns; contribute to whitepapers, case studies, and internal knowledge bases.
- Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to estimate effort, manage timelines, and deliver high‑quality solutions on schedule.
Essential Qualifications

- Minimum of 7–10 years of hands‑on experience designing and implementing MDM solutions, with a proven track record in enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in Informatica IDMC (formerly MDM Cloud) architecture, including data model design, rule engine configuration, and integration patterns.
- Strong data modeling skills: relational, dimensional, and NoSQL models; proficiency in ER modeling tools.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud data platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and AWS Glue/Redshift.
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, API development (REST/SOAP), and data integration patterns.

- Excellent communication skills: ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and to present complex ideas clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on delivering business value through data quality and governance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Informatica IDMC, Snowflake, Databricks, or cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Experience with data‑as‑a‑service (DaaS) offerings such as Snowflake Data Marketplace or AWS Data Exchange.
