Role Overview

We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Remote Customer Marketing Manager to lead our US customer retention, advocacy, and migration journeys. In this role, you will own end-to-end customer experiences that protect revenue, deepen trust, and drive long-term loyalty. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Product, Customer Success, Renewals, Support, and Marketing Operations—to design, execute, and optimize programs that resonate with our US customer base.

As a key member of the brighthush Customer Marketing team, you will be the single point of accountability for all US customer journeys. Your insights will shape product strategy, inform marketing tactics, and influence the overall customer experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own US Customer Retention Programs: Design and deliver initiatives that reduce churn risk, reinforce long-term value, and keep customers engaged throughout their lifecycle.
  • Lead Customer Advocacy: Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to secure compelling testimonials, case studies, and third‑party reviews that showcase the impact of brighthush solutions.
  • Manage Migration Communications: Plan, sequence, QA, and deliver migration messages that guide customers through product upgrades or platform transitions, ensuring clarity and minimal disruption.
  • Single Point of Accountability: Oversee accuracy, compliance, timing, and escalation for all assigned customer journeys, maintaining a high standard of quality and governance.
  • Collaborate with UK-Based Colleagues: Adapt proven frameworks and best practices from our global team to fit the unique nuances of the US market.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Product, Renewals, Support, Professional Services, and Marketing Operations to align messaging, timing, and deliverables.
  • Analyze Program Performance: Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize engagement, retention, and advocacy outcomes.
  • Ensure Brand & Compliance Alignment: Verify that all customer communications meet brighthush brand guidelines, legal requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Share Customer Insights: Translate US market feedback into actionable recommendations for product development and marketing strategy.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, or customer communications.
  • Demonstrated success delivering retention, advocacy, or migration/change programs that have measurable impact on churn, NPS, or revenue.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams in a remote, global environment.
  • Exceptional written communication abilities—capable of distilling complex concepts into clear, persuasive messaging.
  • Experience with marketing automation, reporting, and project management tools such as Marketo, Salesforce, Knak, and Asana.
  • High attention to detail and sound judgment in compliance-sensitive settings.
  • Comfortable working autonomously within a remote and/or global reporting structure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the SaaS or enterprise software industry, particularly within the US market.
  • Background in data analysis and performance measurement, with proficiency in Excel, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations relevant to customer communications.
  • Previous involvement in global marketing initiatives or multi-regional program rollouts.
  • Experience leading or mentoring junior marketing professionals.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture while managing day-to-day execution.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to juggle multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Comfortable turning metrics into actionable insights.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Skilled at building relationships across departments and geographies.
