- Own the entire renewal lifecycle for every account, from early positioning to signed agreement.
- Maintain a renewal calendar that starts 120 days out, accounting for public sector procurement timelines.
- Negotiate pricing and terms within your approved authority; bring any out‑of‑band requests to the COO with clear recommendations.
- Manage all contract mechanics—purchase orders, fiscal year timing, amendments, and re‑bid requirements.
- Forecast renewals accurately and identify risk early to proactively change the outcome.
- Maintain a defensible account health view for forecast reviews.
- Customer Relationship Building
- Develop deep relationships with HR and finance leadership at each agency, beyond the day‑to‑day contact.
- Understand each customer’s operating calendar—budget cycles, bargaining periods, council meetings—and align engagement accordingly.
- Run consistent cadence with named accounts, covering usage, upcoming budget and negotiation cycles, and open issues.
- Own escalations end‑to‑end, pulling in support, product, or executive help when needed.
- Identify and qualify expansion opportunities across additional modules, new agencies, and consulting engagements; hand them to sales with context.
- Collaboration & Product Advocacy
- Route customer feedback and feature requests into the roadmap process with sufficient context and evidence.
- Partner with the Onboarding Specialist from kickoff to ensure a smooth transition to your ownership.
- Share patterns across your book—recurring friction, competitive pressure, emerging use cases—with the broader team.
- Process & Tool Excellence
- Track account activity, renewal forecasts, and escalations in Salesforce; keep records current.
- Contribute to building the customer success playbook; help define processes in our 30‑person organization.
