Why This Role Matters
In the fast‑moving world of cybersecurity, enterprises need a partner that can not only deliver technology but also drive measurable business outcomes. The Senior Strategic Growth Customer Success Manager (CSM) is the senior owner of a portfolio of 8–12 of our largest, most strategic customers, representing $3.5 million+ in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). These accounts are complex, multi‑threaded, and demand a deep, executive‑level partnership. Your success will directly influence brighthush’s gross and net revenue retention, expansion pipeline, and overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Executive Relationships – Build trusted, long‑term relationships with CISOs, CIOs, and IT/security leadership. Extend your influence beyond the CISO to IT operations, infrastructure, risk, compliance, and procurement leaders.
- Build and Run Strategic Account Plans – Create joint, multi‑year success plans tied to each customer’s business outcomes. Review and update these plans quarterly with the account team and brighthush leadership.
- Lead the Account Team – Serve as the quarterback for Technical Account Managers, Sales, Solutions Engineers, and executive sponsors. Align the entire team around a single, cohesive plan for each account.
- Create Expansion Opportunities – Map whitespace across business units, regions, devices, and platform capabilities. Open new buying centers and build compelling business cases that secure expansion funding.
- Run Complex Renewals – Lead multi‑year, multi‑stakeholder renewals through procurement, legal, and channel partners. Start the renewal process 180 days out and use MEDDPICC to qualify and close.
- Lead Executive Business Reviews – Quantify the exposure brighthush has eliminated, the operational time returned, and the ROI against the customer’s own goals. Deliver data‑driven, executive‑level presentations that reinforce the value of our partnership.
- Handle Escalations with Steady Judgment – Own the response when something goes wrong. Bring in the right people quickly and keep the executive relationship intact.
- Forecast with Precision – Keep the CRM current, forecast renewals and expansion accurately, and flag risk early with a recovery plan attached.
- Shape the Team and Product – Mentor CSMs, contribute to our CS playbooks, bring strategic customer feedback to Product, and help build our customer advisory board and reference program.
