Role Description The Senior Financial Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for leading complex financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. This position oversees budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing actionable recommendations to leadership. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing financial reports, monitoring key performance indicators, and supporting strategic initiatives with detailed financial models. The Senior Financial Specialist partners with cross-functional teams to clarify financial impacts, optimize resource allocation, and ensure accuracy and compliance in financial data. The role also involves improving financial processes, mentoring junior team members, and communicating insights clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong Finance and Financial Planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting complex data, assessing trends, and supporting decision-making. Experience in Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and analysis of statements and management reports. Clear and professional Communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with diverse teams. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is an advantage. Proficiency with financial systems, spreadsheets, and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, BI platforms). Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Experience in a senior or lead financial role, with a track record of improving processes and supporting strategic decisions.
