Role Description The Senior Financial Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing complex financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities. In this position, the specialist will prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making. The role includes monitoring key performance indicators, identifying financial risks and opportunities, and recommending actions to enhance profitability and efficiency. The Senior Financial Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate financial insights to leadership, and contribute to improving financial processes, controls, and tools. This role also involves staying current with relevant regulations and best practices, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Financial Reporting to manage statements, budgets, forecasts, and compliance requirements. Candidates should possess advanced Financial Planning skills to support long-term strategy, resource allocation, and performance optimization. Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, perform variance analysis, and develop actionable insights. Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills to present financial information to stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are an advantage. Experience in senior or advanced financial roles, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis, preferably in a remote or distributed team environment. Proficiency with financial software, spreadsheets, and enterprise systems; strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and integrity.
