Snowflake Architect - Cortex AI
Job Title: Snowflake Architect – Cortex AI Job location: Remote Job Type: Fulltime Role Summary The Snowflake Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise data architecture solutions using Snowflake, with a strong focus on Cortex AI, Cortex Search, AI-ready data architecture, and semantic data modeling. The role will drive the development of scalable, secure, and well-governed data models that support enterprise analytics, AI agents, and advanced data-driven applications. The architect will collaborate with data engineering, AI, analytics, and business teams to define data strategies and deliver modern data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop enterprise data architecture solutions using Snowflake, including Cortex AI and Cortex Search capabilities. Build AI-ready data structures and semantic data models to support enterprise AI applications and AI agent integrations. Develop data models, master queries, and optimized SQL queries to enable AI agents to access and retrieve enterprise data. Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise applications, data warehouses, and analytical solutions. Apply ER Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault, and Enterprise Data Modeling techniques. Develop and maintain dimensional data models, including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact Tables, and Dimension Tables. Perform data profiling, source system analysis, and data discovery to support data modeling and integration initiatives. Establish data governance, security, reliability, compliance, and data management standards. Create source-to-target mappings and support data integration, migration, and modernization projects. Collaborate with data engineering, AI/ML, and business teams to ensure data architecture aligns with enterprise requirements. Required Skills and Experience Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including Cortex AI and Cortex Search. Strong understanding of AI-ready data architecture and Semantic Data Modeling. Experience developing data models and master queries to support AI agents and enterprise AI applications. Hands-on expertise in ER Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault, and Enterprise Data Modeling. Strong experience designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Expertise in Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact and Dimension modeling. Strong SQL skills and experience with data profiling and source system analysis. Understanding of Data Governance, Data Security, Data Quality, Compliance, and enterprise data management standards.
