About brighthush

At brighthush, we’re redefining the way modern businesses manage their finances. Our mission is to build the smartest, most intuitive financial infrastructure that sits seamlessly within every dollar a company spends. By automating the flow of over $200 B in annualized spend across 70,000+ organizations, we empower finance teams to focus on strategy rather than spreadsheets. Our platform authorizes payments, flags risk, categorizes spend, and closes books—all in real time—so companies can save 5% on costs and grow revenue by 16% in their first year.

We’re a high‑velocity, high‑impact team that thrives on agency, urgency, and a relentless focus on outcomes. We value what you’ve built over where you trained, and we expect every team member to own problems end‑to‑end and make consequential decisions that shape the future of finance. If you’re ready to build systems that directly influence how companies move and manage billions, brighthush is the place to do it.

Role Overview

As a Strategic Enterprise Customer Activation Manager at brighthush, you won’t just manage accounts—you’ll transform how our largest, most strategic enterprise customers run their finances. This role is for seasoned professionals who have navigated complex organizational change, speak the language of CFOs, and use AI as a core part of their daily workflow. You will be embedded in brighthush’s most critical accounts, responsible for driving genuine workflow transformation, not just onboarding completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full transformation journey: From implementation to agentic workflow adoption, you’ll own time‑to‑value and measurable business outcomes for each enterprise customer.
  • Own change‑management strategy: Map stakeholders, diagnose resistance, build internal coalitions, and drive adoption past the finish line.
  • Quantify and communicate impact: Translate brighthush’s value into CFO‑friendly metrics—close‑cycle improvement, spend visibility, variance reduction, and ROI—rather than just product usage.
  • Executive stakeholder management: Run independent, cross‑layer relationships with C‑suite executives and other senior stakeholders.
  • Leverage AI daily: Use AI tools to prepare for calls, build materials, synthesize data, identify account risk, and operate at a pace that outstrips traditional methods.
  • Educate on agentic finance capabilities: Position new workflows as fundamental changes to finance operations, not mere feature add‑ons.
  • Collaborate across teams: Partner with Account Executives and Technical Consulting to deliver seamless implementations and expand brighthush’s footprint within accounts.
  • Feed back into product: Surface patterns, gaps, and opportunities from your accounts to shape brighthush’s product roadmap.

Essential Qualifications

  • Enterprise change‑management expertise: Proven track record of driving workflow adoption in complex organizations, navigating real stakeholder resistance, and delivering measurable results.
  • AI fluency: Habitual use of AI tools in daily work—preparing for calls, synthesizing information, building customer‑facing materials, and automating repetitive tasks.
  • Financial impact communication: Ability to walk a CFO through the business case for a workflow change, connect implementation milestones to P&L outcomes, and deliver executive updates in financial terms.
  • Technical acumen: Credibility in conversations about integrations, APIs, and workflow architecture with Product and Engineering teams.
  • 7+ years in enterprise customer success or implementations: Deep experience navigating complex organizations and senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agentic workflow experience: Demonstrated success in adopting AI‑powered workflows at scale, understanding friction points and ensuring transformation sticks.
  • Finance domain depth: Exposure to FP&A, accounting ecosystems (brighthush, brighthush, brighthush, brighthush), expense management, or CFO‑adjacent workflows.
  • Commercial impact evidence: Specific metrics on expansion, retention, or time‑to‑value outcomes.
  • Background at an AI‑first or AI transformation company: Experience where rethinking workflows around AI was part of the product or culture.
  • High‑growth or startup experience: Comfort operating in ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Independent C‑suite relationships: Built and maintained without relying on a sales counterpart.

  • Strategic thinking and execution at scale
  • Exceptional communication—both written and verbal—across all organizational levels
  • Data‑driven decision making and storytelling
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills
  • Adaptability and resilience in fast‑paced environments
  • Passion for continuous learning and AI innovation
