Vice President of Finance

Role Description The Vice President of Finance is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the financial strategy and operations of Millennium Invest. This position oversees budgeting and financial planning, manages financial reporting and analysis, and ensures accurate preparation and review of financial statements. The role includes developing and monitoring key performance indicators, supporting investment evaluations, and providing financial insights to senior leadership and investment committees. The Vice President of Finance will also implement and improve internal controls, coordinate audit and compliance activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across technology, luxury, real estate, hospitality, and financing initiatives. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management, cash flow oversight, and long-term capital planning.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong finance and financial planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial management. Candidates should possess expertise in financial statements, including preparation, review, and interpretation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Candidates should possess robust analytical skills and experience in financial reporting to support data-driven decision-making and performance tracking. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis within sectors such as technology, luxury, real estate, or hospitality is beneficial. Experience in debt structuring, capital markets, or corporate financing, with a strong understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks. Proven leadership experience in a senior finance role, with the ability to manage remote teams and collaborate across diverse stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a relevant advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, MBA) is preferred. Excellent communication skills, high ethical standards, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, investment-focused environment.
