Vice President of Investment

Role Description The Vice President of Investment is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the organization’s investment portfolio and driving long-term value creation. This role involves leading the development and execution of investment strategies, evaluating new opportunities, and managing ongoing performance across asset classes. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and financial analysis, overseeing due diligence processes, preparing investment memos and recommendations, and presenting findings to senior leadership and stakeholders. The Vice President of Investment will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, negotiate deal terms, monitor risk, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. This role also includes mentoring team members, refining investment processes, and contributing to strategic planning and capital allocation decisions.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in investment management and investments, with a track record of overseeing diversified portfolios and delivering consistent results. Proficiency in conducting due diligence, including qualitative and quantitative assessments of potential investments, risks, and returns. Experience designing and implementing investment strategies aligned with organizational objectives, risk appetite, and market conditions. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into clear recommendations. Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain investment concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring of investment professionals. High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical investment practices and regulatory compliance. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
