Chief Product Officer
Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Product Officer at Huscarl (YC P26). The Chief Product Officer will define and drive the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals. This role involves leading product discovery and prioritization, translating customer and market insights into clear product requirements, and collaborating closely with engineering, design, sales, and operations to deliver high-impact releases. The Chief Product Officer will oversee the full product lifecycle, implement data-informed decision-making, and establish processes for experimentation, feedback collection, and continuous improvement. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring product managers, facilitating cross-functional planning, managing timelines and trade-offs, and communicating product plans and performance to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Product Strategy and Product Management skills to define vision, build roadmaps, and manage the end-to-end product lifecycle. Project Management skills to coordinate initiatives, manage timelines, and ensure successful delivery of product releases. Team Leadership and Cross-functional Team Leadership skills to guide product teams and collaborate effectively with engineering, design, and business stakeholders. Experience in data-driven decision-making, including use of analytics, customer feedback, and market research to inform product direction. Strong communication and storytelling skills for articulating product vision, aligning stakeholders, and presenting to executive leadership. Proven experience in a senior product leadership role within a high-growth or startup environment; experience in YC-backed or similar companies is a plus. Ability to thrive in a remote, distributed environment, with strong organizational skills and comfort with asynchronous collaboration tools. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree is an advantage.
