Role Overview
The Customer Success Associate sits at the heart of our commercial engine. You will be the primary day‑to‑day contact for a portfolio of existing customers, including some of Europe’s leading energy suppliers and utilities. Your core focus will be ensuring smooth account operations, providing first‑level support on platform usage, data, and API questions, and escalating issues to the Technical Solutions or Customer Success Manager when necessary. In addition, you will onboard new customers, drive adoption, and support renewals and upsell initiatives in partnership with senior commercial colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, handling day‑to‑day requests and providing level‑1 support on platform usage, data queries, and API integration.
- Knowledge Base Development: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles, FAQs, onboarding guides, and product training materials to empower customers and reduce support tickets.
- Health & Risk Monitoring: Keep account records and health metrics up to date in HubSpot and Notion, flagging risks early and ensuring proactive engagement.
- Quarterly Business Reviews: Prepare and deliver QBRs that highlight the value customers derive from our platform, using data visualisations and insights to demonstrate ROI.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Technical Solutions, Product, and Sales teams, and bring the customer’s voice into roadmap discussions to shape future product enhancements.
- Renewal & Upsell Support: Work closely with the Commercial team to identify renewal opportunities and upsell prospects, contributing to the growth of Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for customer success workflows, documentation, and tooling to increase efficiency and scalability.
Essential Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Professional Experience: 2–4 years in a B2B or enterprise customer‑facing role such as Customer Success, Account Management, Sales, or Consulting.
- Energy Sector Insight: Prior experience at a utility, energy supplier, trading house, energy consultancy, or energy software company. Comfort with the operational realities of energy suppliers is essential.
- Communication & Empathy: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to navigate difficult conversations and build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in data analysis using Excel (XLOOKUP, pivot tables) or equivalent tools; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Organisational Excellence: Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills, capable of managing multiple timelines and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
Bonus Qualifications
- Knowledge of EAC markets and ETRM software.
- Experience with API integration and data pipelines.
- Fluency in additional European languages (e.g., French, German, Dutch).
What You’ll Gain
- Career Growth: Rapid progression opportunities within a high‑growth startup environment. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, gain exposure to product strategy, and develop a deep understanding of the energy transition.
- Learning & Development: Access to industry conferences, online courses, and internal knowledge sharing sessions. We invest in your professional growth to keep you at the cutting edge of customer success and energy technology.
- Work Environment: 100% remote‑first role with flexible working hours. You can work from home, our London office, or a local co‑working space. We require that you live in mainland Western or Central‑West Europe and can reach Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, or London by train within 8 hours.
