A premier litigation law firm headquartered in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney with 5+ years of practice to join its expanding coverage and bad faith litigation team. This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing attorneys to work from anywhere while handling sophisticated, high-value insurance coverage disputes. The ideal candidate will bring experience on either the carrier defense side or policyholder (plaintiff) side and possess the ability to independently manage complex litigation from intake through resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Independently manage a full caseload of insurance coverage and bad faith litigation matters Perform advanced policy analysis and coverage opinions Handle all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, law & motion, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation Represent clients in declaratory relief actions and extra-contractual liability disputes Draft and argue dispositive motions and negotiate settlements Provide strategic counseling on reservations of rights and coverage determinations Collaborate with partners and junior attorneys on complex case strategies Maintain strong client relationships and business development initiatives Qualifications 5+ years of Insurance Coverage litigation experience Active California Bar license Experience on either defense or plaintiff-side insurance coverage Proven ability to independently manage a litigation caseload Strong writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between [$200,000 to 300,000 annually].
