That’s why we invest heavily in research, collaborate with industry leaders, and cultivate a culture of continuous learning. Whether you’re a seasoned engineer or just starting your career, you’ll find a supportive environment where curiosity is rewarded, ideas are shared, and impact is measurable.

Role Overview

As a Junior Customer Implementation Engineer, you will be the first line of technical support for our clients during the critical onboarding phase. You’ll work closely with our sales, product, and support teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable cloud solutions. Your responsibilities will span from configuring cloud environments to troubleshooting complex integration scenarios, ensuring that each customer achieves a smooth, successful deployment.

We’re looking for a motivated, detail‑oriented individual who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative setting. If you have a passion for cloud technologies, a knack for problem‑solving, and a desire to make a tangible difference in the health‑care sector, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Configuration & Deployment: Set up and configure cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to meet client specifications, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance with health‑care regulations.
  • Application Integration: Deploy and integrate our core application stack, including Docker containers, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) templates.
  • Data Migration & Validation: Assist clients in migrating legacy data to the cloud, performing data integrity checks, and validating DICOM, PACS, HL7, and IHE workflows.
  • Customer Support & Training: Provide hands‑on support during the implementation phase, conduct training sessions, and create user documentation tailored to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating to senior engineers when necessary, and document solutions for the knowledge base.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the implementation workflow, propose automation or tooling enhancements, and collaborate with product teams to refine features.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure all deployments adhere to GDPR, ISO 27001, and other relevant data‑protection standards, maintaining audit trails and secure access controls.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Completed vocational training or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Technical Experience: At least 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in cloud administration (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and application services.
  • Containerization: Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration best practices.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Database Skills: Proficient in SQL, with experience managing relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server).
  • Health‑care Standards: Basic understanding of DICOM, PACS, IHE, and HL7 protocols.
  • Languages: German (C1 level) and English (proficient).
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with health‑care data‑exchange platforms or medical imaging solutions.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or SOC 2.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer).
  • Previous involvement in a SaaS implementation or a customer‑facing technical role.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.

Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Proficiency: Cloud platforms, containerization, IaC, SQL, and health‑care data standards.
  • Problem‑Solving: Ability to diagnose complex issues, think critically, and devise effective solutions.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple implementation tasks, meet deadlines, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Deliver exceptional service, anticipate client needs, and build lasting relationships.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic environment, quickly learn new tools, and stay current with industry trends.
  • Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with sales, product, support, and engineering teams.
