Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IMAGING ASSOCIATES AK is hiring an Accounting Associate to support day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate, timely transaction recording. The role supports journal entries, financial statements, account reconciliations, accounting software and ledgers, closing processes, financial reporting, and collaboration to resolve discrepancies and maintain compliance.
Responsibilities
- Supporting day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions
- Preparing and posting journal entries, assisting with the preparation and review of financial statements, and reconciling accounts
- Working with accounting software to maintain ledgers, support month-end and year-end close processes, and assist with financial reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, respond to inquiries, and help maintain compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations
Skills
- Strong skills in Financial Statements and Finance for accurate reporting and analysis in Quickbooks Pro and AI platforms
- Practical experience with Journal Entries (Accounting) and Accounting Software to manage daily bookkeeping and ledger activities
- Developed Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify variances, and support decision-making
- Solid knowledge of general accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel) and basic data management
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities remotely
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with finance and operations teams
- Relevant experience in healthcare or medical services
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
