Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Omnicare, an independent company providing pharmacy services to long-term care facilities, is hiring an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations. The role oversees financial reporting, close processes, reconciliations, internal controls, and team development while partnering with the Controller to build scalable accounting processes and systems.

Skills
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- 2+ years of people leadership experience
- Experience with and a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and financial reporting
- Experience managing month-end close processes and general ledger accounting
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Healthcare, pharmacy, PBM, provider, or other highly regulated industry experience
- Experience supporting ERP implementations or accounting system transformations including Oracle NetSuite
- Experience in stand-alone company, carve-out, private equity, or transformation environments
- 2+ years of public accounting experience
- CPA preferred
