Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. JerseySTEM is seeking a Staff Analytics Team Lead to lead its staff analytics team and use data to optimize staff performance, workforce planning, and organizational efficiency. This pro-bono volunteer role collaborates with HR and other departments to develop metrics, analyze workforce data, and present insights to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Staff Analytics team, providing direction, guidance, and support in data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to identify key metrics and data requirements for workforce planning and decision-making
- Design and implement data collection processes and systems to ensure accurate and reliable data
- Analyze and interpret data to generate insights and recommendations for improving staff performance and organizational efficiency
- Prepare and present reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and workforce management
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Proven experience in data analytics and reporting, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Leadership and team management abilities
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on delivering actionable insights
