[Remote] Director of Business Development

Avoca Search is seeking a relationship-driven business development professional to generate new business and develop healthcare clients. The role focuses on securing engagements across the firm’s healthcare executive search and talent solutions services, while partnering with leadership and search professionals.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate relationships with healthcare executives and organizational decision-makers
• Generate opportunities and secure engagements across Avoca’s service lines
• Partner closely with Avoca leadership, including Brian McCartie, on business development strategy and key relationships
• Coordinate with Avoca’s experienced search and recruiting professionals, who lead assignment execution
• Build long-term client partnerships through consultative, responsive service

Skills

• Demonstrated success generating new business and maintaining healthcare client relationships
• Experience in healthcare services, physician recruitment, staffing, interim leadership, executive search, or a related field
• An established healthcare network or clear ability to develop one
• Strong consultative selling, communication, and relationship management skills
• An entrepreneurial, collaborative approach and comfort working independently
• Prior experience personally executing executive searches is not required
